Jesus Is The Author And Finisher Of Our Faith.

“Faith is to see what we do not see, and the reward of this faith is to see what we believe.” – Unknown (*quote, not Scripture)

Jesus both created and sustains us. He also authored and fulfilled the plan of salvation. Despite the attempts of some to silence Him and His message, He rose form the dead, just as He said He would. “You killed the author of life, but God raised Him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.” (Acts 3:15) “And, once made perfect, He became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him.” (Hebrews 5:9) “For it was fitting to Him, for Whom are all things, and by Whom are all things, having brought many sons to glory, to make perfect the author of their salvation through sufferings.” (Hebrews 2:10)

Part of the plan the Lord has for us is to bring a sense of order and peace to our all-to-often-chaotic lives. “For God is not a God of disorder, but of peace — as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.” (1 Corinthians 14:33)

We must remain focused upon Him. “Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, Who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” (Hebrews 12:2)

For His blessing of the Holy Spirit that dwells within me, the Holy Spirit is my comforter and the inner voice that speaks to me. Faith is the power with which God speaks to me, and by speaking, brings things to pass . Thank you so much for sharing Jesus’ word. I pray that your writings will reach out to all.
