Jesus Is Christ Our Lord.

“I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, Who has given me strength.” – 1 Timothy 1:12

In our day-to-day lives, it can be easy to become discouraged, but when we remember why we are here, it becomes less of a burden to serve the Lord, and more of a joy. “…You know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” (Colossians 3:24) “And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow Him.” (Colossians 2:6) “What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for Whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ.” (Philippians 3:8) “Keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Chrisf to bring you to eternal life.” (Jude 1:21)

As we learn to love and obey the Lord, let us remember that we are the reason He came to earth. “Today in the town of David, a Savior had been born to you; He is the Messiah, the Lord.” (Luke 2:11) “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior Who saves.” (Zephaniah 3:17a)
