“Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me…The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day.” – Luke 24:44-46
No matter what the prophecy is that was given long before an event, God always fulfills it – He always keeps His promises. “The Lord has done what He planned; He has fulfilled His Word, which He decreed long ago.” (Lamentations 2:17a)
Even down to the little details, Jesus is the Fulfillment of Old Testament prophecy. “And He went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets, that He would be called a Nazarene.” (Matthew 2:23) “But this is how God fulfilled what He had foretold through all the prophets, saying that His Messiah would suffer.” (Acts 3:18) “He began by saying to them, ‘Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.’ ” (Luke 4:21) “And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, ‘And He was numbered with transgressors.’ ” (Mark 15:28)
There is an incredible amount of eyewitnessed, well-documented evidence that Jesus is the exact fulfillment of all the prophecies of the Messiah Who was foretold to bring the salvation of mankind.
Anyone who attempts to contradict this using Scripture will ultimately fail miserably, unless they throw out most of the Bible altogether. God’s Word clearly demonstrates the need for, promise of, and provision of the Savior.
